Bliss in Disarray is Lance Jethro’s debut solo exhibition. This collection of artworks was made during his creative residency in Sydney Australia between 2024-2026 and inspired by his Filipino roots.Through painting and experimenting with various media and textures, Lance explores new ways of expressing emotion – something he used to resist but now embraces. Colour is the creative spark illuminating his work, revealing his aesthetic sense and emotional depth. Every piece in this collection portrays the artist’s emotions on the day they were created. Some are bright, some are dark. Some are heavy, some are light. These emotions coexist with one another and create a balance that can ultimately lead to bliss.
